PRINN - "Oxygen Community"

[AXL Project Completion]

“PRINN” is a medium-density housing project located on Ratchaphruek Rd., approximately 15 minutes across Satorn Bridge from BKK CBD. The surrounding is a residential area with orchards and small klong. The site is in 500 meters range from BTS Bang Wah station. The needs of accommodation in Bangkok drive up the price and lower the quality of general development as a whole. Lack of green space, cars is an essential mode for traveling, which seems to be an undeniable situation for people who live in Bangkok. The owner called for the project that makes a difference to a living environment yet returning profits back to their customer and provide benefits to the community in the long run. Hence, the design ideas are developed in respect to its surroundings.

“Oxygen Community” is the theme idea that brought up to rousing people's awareness of nature through design. Elements such as Wind wall, Water Court, Landform, and special character plant are used to reflect the idea concept. People can feel the wind from the movement of welcome sign wall, swaying of weeping willows and tall grasses, feeling cool and fresh when driving pass the Water Court. Landforms and trees help to embrace and defying both public and private space. The interplay of light and architecture of Entry gate providing soft natural touch to the environment.
